Join us on June 21st for a field trip to the Kelleher Park Fen! DNR State Botanist Welby Smith and Wetland Program Coordinator Jennie Skancke will lead an informative visit to the newly designated calcareous fen in Burnsville’s Kelleher Park. The visit will focus on wetland vegetation, with some additional calcareous fen background. 

We’ll meet at 10 am in the Kelleher Park parking lot and finish up by noon. The fen is a short 5 minute walk but we will cross some uneven ground in the wetland. You will need some knee boots that are weed free.
