MWPCP Exam-Only Opportunity (Registration Required)

The MN Wetland Professional Certification Program (MWPCP) is pleased to announce an opportunity to take MWPCP certification exams on December 13, 2022.  This opportunity to take either the MWPCP Professional In-Training or the Professional exam will be held in the lower-level board room of the BWSR central office located at 520 Lafayette Road North in St. Paul, MN.

 

REGISTRATION

To register to take an exam on December 13, 2022; please email bwsr.mwpcp@state.mn.us indicating you would like to register to take an exam.  The email needs to include your name, the agency you work for, your phone number, your certification number (if you are currently a certified delineator), and which exam (Professional or In-Training) you intend to take.

 

EXAM APPLICATION

Per the MWPCP certification exam policy, anyone who intends to take either the Professional or the Professional In-Training exams are required to complete and submit an application to take the exam.  Exam applications must be submitted and approved no later than November 29, 2022.  The exam application, exam study guide, and the minimal requirements for each exam type are found on our website under the ‘Continuing Education Forms and Associated Policy Documents: https://bwsr.state.mn.us/minnesota-wetland-professional-certification-program.  Please email your completed exam application by the due date to bwsr.mwpcp@state.mn.us.  Any incomplete applications will be returned, which could affect your registration.

 

EXAM FEES

The fee for the exam is $50 or $25 for employees of MNSWCD or WCA LGU.  The fee is due no later than December 2, 2022 and is nonrefundable except if the exam date is cancelled.  Exam registration requires submission of Exam Application Form two weeks prior to exam date.  

 

PAYMENT INFORMATION:  Please make checks payable to BWSR with the memo line referencing “MWPCP 12/13/22 Exam” with your payment.  Send a copy of your registration confirmation email with your payment.   The registration fee is non-refundable.  BWSR does not accept credit cards or cash payments.  In the event your employer is paying for your fees, please make the check payable to BWSR with the memo line referencing the registered employee's name with the payment. Please send a copy of the registration confirmation email for each employee registered with the payment.
